Location: St. Stephen Lutheran Church

Why Days for Girls Matters
What if not having sanitary supplies meant DAYS without school? Days of isolation? Girls use leaves, mattress stuffing, newspaper, corn husks, rocks, anything they can find…but still miss up to 2 months of education and opportunity every year. It turns out this issue is a surprising but instrumental key to social change for women all over the world. See what a difference a DAY makes at http://www.daysforgirls.org/#!videos/c13ms.

Food and drink will be provided. Bring a sewing machine if possible. Stay as long or as short as you want.

Donations of 100% cotton, flannel, girls panties (sizes 8 -16), Ziploc FREEZER gallon size bags, washcloths, and hotel size soaps are also needed.
